Vintage Sutton Swiss Pendant Watch Lucite Case Retro Mid Century Design
Vintage Sutton Swiss mechanical pendant watch featuring a clear lucite oval case and blue and white geometric/flower center which rotates on the second. Black dial with a compass-style motif and red hour and minute hands. Marked “Swiss Made”. Mechanical wind movement visible through the back with etched gear details. Silver-tone chain included. A striking example of mid-century modern and 1960s–1970s retro design, combining fashion and function. Chain drop is about 12.5” making the chain length approximately 25” and the pendant is about 2” long.
Condition: good vintage condition w/minor surface wear and light oxidation around the bezel. Watch is tested and working, I have a video but just realized I can not add it on this platform. This piece is stunning and I can not believe the clarity (non-yellowing) of the lucite/acrylic case.
